Job Summary
Groupe Iliad is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our health, safety, and environmental policy initiatives. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment across our various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to prevent workplace risks and improve working conditions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate potential hazards and risks.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Provide training and awareness programs to employees on safety protocols and procedures.
- Investigate and report on incidents and near-misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Develop and maintain risk prevention documents, annual prevention programs, and informational materials.
- Collaborate with HR to ensure accurate and timely reporting of safety incidents and near-misses.
- Support the Health, Safety, and Working Conditions Committee in preparing meeting materials and facilitating discussions.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a similar role in a similar industry.
- Certifications in health, safety, and environmental management.
- Fluency in English and/or French.
Travel Requirements:
Travel may be required to various sites within France.
