Payroll Portfolio Manager

**Job Summary**
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Accor. As a key member of our payroll function, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll, maintaining payroll records, resolving payroll queries, preparing payroll reports, and analyzing data.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Support the end-to-end monthly payroll process, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and awards.
- Develop and implement initiatives to improve payroll efficiency and delivery, identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Act as the first point of contact for general payroll questions and queries, providing timely and accurate responses to ensure minimal disruption to the business.
- Interpret and apply relevant legislation across different states, ensuring all awards are up-to-date and compliant.
- Attend and facilitate payroll meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to manage payroll projects, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
**Requirements**
- Previous payroll experience within a medium to large organization, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing requirements.
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- An understanding of awards and legislation, with the ability to interpret and apply relevant laws and regulations.
- Good attention to detail, with the ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date payroll records.
- Confidence handling sensitive and confidential matters with integrity, maintaining confidentiality and discretion at all times.
- A high level of computer proficiency, with experience using payroll software and systems.
- Previous experience with Wage Easy and/or TimeTarget would be highly advantageous.
