Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Train Design team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical parts for our high-speed trains, ensuring they meet our high standards for quality, safety, and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical parts for high-speed trains, including interiors and exteriors, using Catia V5 and DMA.
- Deploy and apply project Train Design development procedures, catalogue, and standard solutions.
- Optimise parts design to meet recurring and non-recurring costs targets and ensure committed planning.
- Collaborate with external engineering sub-contractors and site CAD engineers.
- Check digital mock-up consistency, ensuring no interferences, equipment localisation, and volume.
Requirements:
- Engineer educational background.
- Minimum 2 years experience in design of mechanical parts.
- Excellent skills in CATIA V5.
- Better if knowledge of DMA.
