We are seeking a highly experienced Pricing Actuary Leader to join our Global Pricing team at SCOR. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in shaping our pricing strategy and ensuring that our pricing processes are robust, efficient, and aligned with our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Support Business Acceptance Decisions: Collaborate with Underwriting Risk Management to form a business acceptance view on referred pricing cases and contribute to the organization and optimization of the Global Referral process.
- Review Internal Retrocessions: Ensure adherence to SGL pricing methodology and perform pricing or support management in decision processes.
- Develop Python Tools: Develop Python tools to aid in platform development and a common framework for implementing pricing tools across the business.
- Support Local Teams: Support local teams in specific pricing tools development using the platform and support the adoption of Python across the pricing function.
- Maintain and Extend Existing Tools: Maintain and extend three existing Excel tools used for non-proportional pricing prior to adoption of new tools.
- Develop and Launch Replacement Tools: Develop and launch replacement tools in close coordination with local market teams that use them.
- Support Operational Risk Initiatives: Support development and adoption of pricing guidelines related to model construction and testing and other operational risk initiatives, including model review.
- Actuarial Qualification: Actuarial qualification and certification up to date, or equivalence.
- Python Knowledge: Python knowledge (studied or practical).
- International Experience: Experienced pricing actuary, with international experience would be an advantage.
- Model Development Experience: Experienced with model development.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication skills (especially in a complex context).
