MES Application Specialist

Applied Materials is seeking a highly skilled MES Application Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Automation Products Group, you will be responsible for representing our 300mm MES 300works part of our global CIM solution.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide MES production support, MES product delivery support, and CIM delivery project support.
- Design, develop, test, and document MES products.
- Organize meetings throughout the product and project lifecycle, from requirement collection to delivery and sign-off.
- Determine solutions for customer requirements by analyzing and understanding customer manufacturing issues and requirements.
- Participate in documentation reviews and ongoing training for sales and marketing issues.
- Stay up-to-date on new technologies and products by attending classes, seminars, conferences, and presentations.
- Meet department and company quality standards.
- Fluency in English, with German or French a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in an industrial environment.
- Experience as a module engineer in a semiconductor fab a plus.
- Preferred major in 300mm Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Science with a solid understanding of factory automation systems.
- Experience working with 300works/FACTORYworks a plus.
- Strong FAB operation domain and ability to recommend and deploy modeling structure to users.
- Understanding of key manufacturing science concepts, such as semi-auto and full-auto scenarios, semi equipment process scenarios, FAB operation scenarios, process control behavior, lot dispatch logic, and EAP behavior.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate well with all levels of management and colleagues.
- Understanding of complex factory CIM systems and human interactions.
- Preferred: master C++ Programming, C# programming, Web programming, and SQL Programming.
- Software engineering expertise.
- Problem-solving and cooperative.
- Able to travel globally.
