Algofi is seeking a proficient consultant with expertise in Credit Value Adjustment (CVA) to support clients in navigating regulatory compliance initiatives related to credit risk management. This role involves engaging in a variety of complex projects within a dynamic work environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement new CVA/DVA metrics
- Model and assess CVA for restructured transactions
- Assist front office and structuring teams with counterparty risk valuation, factoring in regulatory updates (Basel III), bilateral agreement risks, and client-specific risk profiles
- Perform sensitivity analyses and establish oversight of critical exposures
Qualifications:
A degree in Engineering or a finance-related field is required, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience in credit risk, preferably from a consulting firm or financial institution. Lean Six Sigma certification is advantageous. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication abilities, demonstrate effective project management skills across various functions, and collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
