The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Protection Officer to join our dedicated team. As a DPO, you will play a vital role in ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and safeguarding sensitive information across our organization.

Your Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with the Group Data Protection Officer to oversee major privacy projects at both national and international levels.
  • Lead the implementation of a comprehensive data transfer and privacy framework, establishing robust privacy controls across the organization.
  • Develop and maintain reporting tools, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track privacy compliance and generate insightful reports.
  • Stay abreast of evolving regulatory landscapes and participate in awareness initiatives to promote a culture of data protection.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring of privacy audit points and actively engage in internal and external audits.
  • Foster a strong DPO community, ensuring effective administration and knowledge sharing within the privacy function.
  • Ensure the implementation of group data protection policies and procedures, adhering to local and international regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records and respond promptly to data subject requests.
  • Provide expert guidance and support in handling data breaches, ensuring swift and effective responses aligned with legal requirements.
  • Offer comprehensive advice and support to the organization on all matters related to data protection and privacy.

Who We Are Looking For

  • Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, etc.) preferred.
  • Significant operational experience in data protection and privacy management (7+ years).
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects related to data protection and privacy compliance.
  • Thorough understanding of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Experience working within multinational organizations.
  • Fluent English language proficiency.
