The Opportunity

As a Senior Data Protection Officer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the security and integrity of our customers' data. If you're a seasoned professional with a passion for data protection and a strong background in law, computer science, or a related field, we want to hear from you.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

As a Senior DPO, you'll be responsible for monitoring data protection and privacy compliance across our organization. You'll work closely with our Group DPO team, collaborating with various departments and the Data Protection Officer's network to ensure seamless compliance. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the Group Data Protection Officer in monitoring major cross-functional privacy projects at national and multinational levels.
  • Overseeing the implementation of a new transfer and privacy framework across the organization, including associated privacy controls.
  • Establishing privacy dashboards, tracking KPIs, and compiling the annual DPO report.
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and participating in awareness initiatives.
  • Participating in internal and external privacy audits.
  • Ensuring the proper maintenance of records in our tool, reporting, and responding to requests from data subjects.
  • Providing guidance and assistance in handling data breaches, ensuring swift and effective response in accordance with legal requirements.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to the organization on data protection and privacy matters.

Who Are We Looking For

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Protection Officer with a strong background in data protection and privacy management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master's degree in Law, Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Certified Data Protection Officer (CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, etc.) preferred.
  • Significant operational experience in data protection and privacy management, with at least 7 years of relevant working experience in privacy.
  • A proven track record of managing complex projects related to data protection and privacy compliance.
  • Thorough knowledge of GDPR and other relevant data protection regulations.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Working experience for multinational organizations.
  • Excellent command of English.
