Job Title: Product Validation Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Validation Engineer to join our team at Qorvo, based in Sophia Antipolis, France. As a key member of the Connectivity Systems Business Unit, you will contribute to the validation and debug of UWB, BLE, and Matter solutions dedicated to Qorvo connectivity products.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the product validation strategy
  • Collaborate with product definition and solution architecture teams to define and execute the product validation plan
  • Deliver end-to-end test plans and product KPIs, working closely with product validation and certification strategy and solution architects
  • Perform integration and testing of systems embedding Qorvo UWB and BLE modem chipsets
  • Participate in plug fests and certification campaigns
  • Work with partners on joint E2E validation benches
  • Analyze bugs and raise tickets to hardware and software development teams

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in engineering or equivalent
  • 5+ years of relevant industry experience
  • Expertise in Python programming and experience with C/C++ programming
  • Technical understanding of embedded systems, real-time OS/firmware, network and RF software layers, embedded security, and secure elements
  • Android experience is a strong plus (Linux Kernel, HAL, Android flow, Java/Apk)
  • Knowledge of radio communication systems and standard bodies (3GPP, Wi-Fi, BLE, or other); knowledge of UWB is a plus
  • System test and methodology
  • Ability to use oscilloscope, logic analyzer, and RF tester equipment
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Team player
  • Strong problem-solving approach and desire to see the customer succeed
  • Ability to travel to APAC and USA (up to 20% time)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Good communication and reporting skills
  • Very fluent in English, spoken and written
