Job Summary

This role is responsible for the design, development, and industrialization of electromechanical products or chips, maximizing business value and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate product needs into technical specifications
  • Design product architecture corresponding to technical specifications
  • Oversee or carry out 3D and 2D drawings (for mechanical parts), schematics placement and layouts (for electronics designs)
  • Improve design thanks to CAD simulations and emulations
  • Oversee prototypes manufacturing
  • Carry out integration of sub-systems, qualification, and validation of hardware design
  • Oversee certifications of products
  • Oversee mass production manufacturing (industrialization)
  • Write technical guidance
  • Carry out technological watch
  • Participate in quotation for customers
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to solve design and development issues
  • Own responsibility for the design and development of complex equipment, processes, and full systems
  • Prepare engineering studies, specifications, and cost estimates
  • Act as an internal consultant providing technical guidance on most complex projects
  • Act as technical lead
  • Supervise the work of technicians and engineers
  • Work in total autonomy
