Software Development Engineer II

At Ansys, we are seeking a talented Software Development Engineer II to join our team. As a Software Development Engineer II, you will contribute to the development of SPDM software and next-generation technologies and products. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining functionality related to Simulation Process Data Management in an agile environment.
Main Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development of software products and supporting systems. Collaborate with a team of expert professionals to understand customer requirements and accomplish development objectives. Perform moderately complex development activities, including the design, implementation, maintenance, testing, and documentation of software modules and sub-systems. Understand and employ best practices. Perform moderately complex bug verification, release testing, and beta support for assigned products. Research problems discovered by QA or product support and develop solutions. Employs best practices and helps to maintain them through technical reviews and mentoring. Works independently with minimal supervision and may take on some planning and mentoring responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications:
BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with 3 - 5 years' experience, or 1 - 3 years of experience with an advanced degree or specific relevant experience. Working experience within technical software development proven by academic, research, or industry projects. Good understanding and skills in object-oriented programming. Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and/or C# programming languages. Experience with NodeJS platform.
