As a key member of the Site Support team at CGN Europe Energy, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production sites, wind turbines, and delivery stations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform high-voltage maintenance on delivery substations, ensuring our facilities are properly consigned and reclosed, and troubleshoot and inspect various equipment (turbines, blades, transformer substations).
  • Operate a wind farm, monitor production, alarms, and faults, conduct annual inspections of wind turbines, and manage existing and future contracts.
  • Identify and investigate malfunctions, under-performance, breakdowns, and damage affecting equipment and infrastructure, and propose solutions for improvement.
  • Install, monitor, and troubleshoot communications equipment for our assets remotely or on-site.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and technical modifications to remote management systems at our sites.


Technical Expertise and Development:
  • Contribute to the development of extended operating expertise (endoscopy, thermography, oil analysis, grease analysis).
  • Research and compare service providers and technical proposals for various activities (troubleshooting, improvements, maintenance).
  • Help manage the stock of maintenance parts and consumables.
  • Support on-site or remote supervision teams in resolving malfunctions encountered on our assets.
  • Collaborate with investment and construction teams during the investment or construction of projects.


Safety and Compliance:
  • Implement and ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment rules on company premises and production sites.
  • Participate in safety meetings and joint inspection visits to our sites. Regular climbing of wind turbines and frequent travel in France and occasionally abroad are expected.


Requirements:
  • You hold a degree in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or automation, and have at least 2 years of experience (ideally in renewable energy or high-voltage maintenance).
  • You possess a good command of French and a professional level of English.
  • Excellent communication skills and team spirit are essential.
  • Knowledge of electrical approvals (H0; B0) and networks and telecommunications (TCP/IP protocol; automation) is required.
