Job Description

As a key member of the Site Support team at CGN Europe Energy, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production sites, wind turbines, and delivery stations. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Tasks:
  • Performing high-voltage maintenance on delivery substations, ensuring our facilities are properly consigned and reclosed.
  • Carrying out troubleshooting and various inspections, including turbines, blades, and transformer substations.
  • Operating a wind farm, monitoring production, alarms, and faults, and conducting annual inspections of wind turbines.
  • Draw up performance reports and manage existing and future contracts.
  • Identifying and investigating malfunctions, under-performance, breakdowns, and damage affecting equipment and infrastructure.
  • Proposing solutions for improvement and implementing them as needed.
  • Installing, monitoring, and troubleshooting communications equipment remotely or on-site.
  • Participating in troubleshooting and technical modifications to remote management systems at our sites.
Supporting and Developing Technical Expertise:
  • Participating in the development of extended operating expertise, including endoscopy, thermography, oil analysis, and grease analysis.
  • Researching and comparing service providers and technical proposals for various activities, such as troubleshooting, improvements, and maintenance.
  • Helping manage the stock of maintenance parts and consumables.
  • Supporting on-site or remote supervision teams in resolving malfunctions encountered on our assets.
  • Cooperating with investment and construction teams during the investment or construction of projects.
Application of Safety Rules:

Implement and ensure compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment rules on company premises and production sites. Participate in safety meetings and joint inspection visits to our sites. Regularly climbing wind turbines is a requirement of this role.

Frequent travel within France and occasional travel abroad are expected.

Qualifications:

You must have a degree in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, or automation, and at least 2 years' experience (ideally in renewable energy or high-voltage maintenance). A good command of French and a professional level of English are also required. Good communication skills and team spirit are essential, as well as knowledge of electrical approvals (H0; B0) and networks and telecommunications (TCP/IP protocol; knowledge of automation).
