Your Role
Gensler is seeking a Technical Coordinator to enhance our Workplace Studios. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Revit to develop technical solutions that align with client and design specifications. Your experience in managing technical processes, combined with strong communication and teamwork skills, will be essential in interpreting the needs of clients, designers, and contractors.
What You Will Do
As a Technical Coordinator, you will utilize your creativity to craft distinctive professional environments, providing essential technical support throughout all project phases.
- Lead the design and execution of projects with an emphasis on workplace design.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently while collaborating with diverse teams to deliver significant outcomes.
- Collaborate with our broader offices and consultancy teams to create innovative technical design solutions.
- Develop technical solutions that effectively address the client's requirements.
- Assist the team in the detailed technical development of designs and provide input during the preparation and execution of construction documents and on-site activities.
- Work closely with the Design Manager and design colleagues to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Keep the technical team informed about current building regulations and the Quality Management System.
- Oversee all phases of the project, focusing on technical aspects.
- Guide the design team towards a unified and rational technical solution that adheres to project specifications and is technically, legally, and financially sound.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field, with proven experience in design, detailing, and/or construction practices.
- In-depth knowledge of French building regulations.
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit and related BIM software with a solid practical background.
- Essential experience in the design and delivery of architectural projects; workplace design experience is a plus.
- Extensive understanding of industrial construction techniques and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Competent in working within a Revit environment to BIM Level 2 standards.
- Strong communicator with the ability to articulate BIM concepts to various stakeholders.
- A collaborative team player with leadership capabilities and a flexible mindset.
- Proven ability to support a team with effective collaboration skills.
- Capacity to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Fluency in both French and English.
