Job Title: Analytical Chemist - Laboratory Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Chemist - Laboratory Technician to join our team. As an Analytical Chemist - Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for performing various analytical techniques, maintaining and repairing analytical equipment, and ensuring laboratory risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform various analytical techniques: ICP, CPG, GC-MS, HPLC, MOLP...
  • Update local and national analytical databases: Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is maintained.
  • Maintain and repair analytical equipment: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment is functioning properly.
  • Research and consult with suppliers: Identify and recommend new analytical equipment to improve laboratory operations.
  • Archive and manage analytical section documents: Ensure all documents are properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Ensure laboratory risk management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in analytical chemistry: A degree in analytical chemistry is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an analytical laboratory: Proven experience in an analytical laboratory is necessary.
  • Knowledge of occupational risk prevention: Understanding of occupational risk prevention principles is essential.
  • Mastery of analytical chemistry techniques: Proficiency in ICP, CPG, GC-MS, HPLC, MOLP... is required.
  • Experience with quality systems: Familiarity with quality systems is necessary.
  • Scientific rigor: A strong understanding of scientific principles is required.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential.
  • Dynamism: A dynamic and proactive approach is necessary.
  • Good interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills are necessary.
  • Prioritization: Ability to prioritize tasks effectively is essential.
  • Deadline management: Strong time management skills are required.
  • Writing skills: Good writing skills are necessary.
  • Proficiency in Excel/Word: Proficiency in Excel and Word is required.
