We are seeking a highly motivated PhD candidate to contribute to the development of heat recovery technologies for future applications in aircraft propulsion.
About the RoleAs a PhD candidate in heat recovery technologies, you will be part of the Performance & Heat Management department, responsible for propulsion system performance and thermal analyses.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development of heat recovery technologies for future aircraft propulsion
- Collaborate with the Propulsion Design Office and the LEMTA laboratory to advance the state-of-the-art in heat recovery technologies
- Design and develop heat transport loops using supercritical fluids
- Develop and validate models for heat transport loops and their sub-components
- Conduct experiments and analyze results to improve heat recovery technologies
- Master's degree or Engineer in thermal-hydraulics, energy vectors, thermal, or thermodynamics
- Strong background in simulation and practical aspects of heat transport loops
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Fluency in English and French
