Central Operations Director

We are seeking a highly skilled Central Operations Manager to join our team at Aplo. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our centralized functions, enabling our teams to focus on their core missions.
As a Central Operations Manager, you will report to our COO, Quentin, and work closely with department leads to provide prompt and efficient support for all tasks related to their scope.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a structured approach to our centralized operations, including the creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the management of a team of agents.
- Collaborate with outsourcing partners to ensure seamless execution of tasks and projects, and indirectly manage a team of agents to achieve exceptional results.
- Provide support to internal senior stakeholders, ensuring they receive the right level of support and transparency on our operations.
- Continuously evaluate and improve our ways of operating, aiming to reduce manual work and simplify SOPs.
- Oversee the development and implementation of processes for auditing, training, knowledge base, and workforce management, and monitor their effectiveness.
- Work closely with our Operations and Data engineers to build the right stack of tools, and be involved in the development of functional needs and the rollout of new features.
We are looking for a candidate with at least 4+ years of experience in challenging environments, such as consulting, start-ups, or operations-heavy businesses.
The ideal candidate will be structured and data-driven, with experience in project management and the ability to break down large problems into actionable items.
They will also have experience in management, both direct and indirect, and be able to handle senior stakeholders.
We are looking for a candidate with a passion for operational excellence and a drive to deliver ever-better results.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is a must.
