We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Analysis Engineer to join our team at Subsea7, a global leader in the delivery of offshore projects and services for the energy industry.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a team of installation analysis project engineers to ensure successful delivery of analysis activities on all projects supported by the Pipeline Group.
- Perform installation analysis of rigid pipeline in S-lay, J-lay, and/or Reel-lay with a high degree of autonomy.
- Provide direct engineering guidance to PG engineers on specific subject matters.
- Manage delegated external interfaces such as clients, subcontractors, and internal interfaces like SCM.
- Ensure that the standard of engineering services provided complies with relevant company engineering standards, with a clear focus on commerciality of engineering solutions.
- Provide engineering support during operations, with occasional periods offshore or on yard.
- Participate actively in engineers' training and development.
- 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably in the Oil & Gas market, but other relevant experience will be considered.
- Proven experience in leading engineering teams, essential for this role.
- Proficiency in Orcaflex and familiarity with systems such as Python, VBA, and Abaqus is desirable.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to speak with all levels within the business, and comfortable working on their own and as part of a team.
- Excellent report writing skills, with the ability to self-check and produce accurate work, as well as prioritize and organize work to meet deadlines.
- Flexibility and willingness to travel overseas, if required.
