Our client, a leading private equity-backed financial services company, is seeking a Financial Controller to manage financial activities across multiple regions in Continental Europe. This role is critical for providing leadership in financial reporting, compliance, and strategic financial planning.

The Job:

  • Oversee the preparation of monthly management accounts, delivering timely and accurate financial information.
  • Present accounts to the Board of Directors and ensure the timely resolution of queries.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting in line with policies and statutory requirements.
  • Lead statutory audits and ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with Financial Accountants, AP, and AR teams to ensure the accuracy of financial data.
  • Work closely with the FP&A team to deliver KPIs and management information.
  • Participate in finance transformation projects and drive improvements in efficiency within the finance function.

The Candidate:

  • Ideal candidate has 5+ years of post-qualified experience in a senior finance role, preferably with Big 4 training.
  • Experience in asset management and a deep understanding of IFRS accounting standards is essential.
  • Proficiency in financial management systems, with advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and Salesforce/Intacct.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
