**About the Department of Financial Instruments**
The Department of Financial Instruments is responsible for ensuring the correct processing of financial instrument instructions and the conservation of assets on behalf of the Caisse des Dépôts, its internal clients or subsidiaries, and external clients.
Within the Department of Financial Instruments (DEOFI), we ensure the processing of financial operations for the Caisse des Dépôts and its clients, from transaction processing to stock management, valuation, and accounting. We intervene on the following asset range: securities, organized and OTC derivatives, cash and exchange, real estate investment, participations, and capital investment.
**Our Key Responsibilities**
- Monitoring production, including:
- Handling, controlling, and recording all R/L instructions on fixed and temporary securities transfers, negotiated by the Public Establishment and its clients;
- Transmitting to the custodian for settlement and controlling the successful completion of operations;
- Treating OTC derivatives;
- Monitoring listed derivatives;
- Treating EU, US, and Asian emissions;
- Managing and processing Bank of France tenders;
- Managing margin calls on over-the-counter transactions;
- Issuing treasury announcements;
- Monitoring and resolving suspensions;
- Participating in projects to evolve information systems and projects related to our business area;
- Contributing to the development and updating of procedures;
- Maintaining operational relationships with other CDC departments (front, middle), DEOF departments, and BP2S.
