We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scientific Relations Manager to join our team at Kyowa Kirin. As a key member of our Medical Affairs department, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining strong relationships with key external experts and academics in the therapy area.
Key Responsibilities- Scientific Knowledge and Expertise
- Maintain a deep level of scientific knowledge on the full dataset of assigned Kyowa Kirin therapy areas and relevant treatment options.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest scientific research and publications in the field.
- Relationship Building and Management
- Foster and develop strong relationships with key external experts and academics in the therapy area.
- Engage with these experts to gather insights and feedback on our science and data.
- Medical Support and Education
- Provide accurate, fair, balanced, and non-promotional scientific information and presentations to healthcare professionals.
- Develop and deliver internal and external training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of our team members and external partners.
- Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Clinical Operations, HEOR, and Sales, to ensure seamless execution of medical activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate exchange of information.
- Compliance and Governance
- Ensure adherence to all company and regulatory compliance policies and procedures.
- Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, codes, and regulations in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Scientific Background
- PhD or equivalent degree in a relevant scientific field.
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical industry role, with a focus on medical affairs or scientific relations.
- Skills and Competencies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong scientific knowledge and expertise in the therapy area.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key external experts and academics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
