Job Overview

Upskills Consultancy Services specializes in delivering top-tier financial software consulting to prominent investment banks and financial institutions across the Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Europe. Our extensive expertise spans from front to back office operations in both cash and derivatives markets, complemented by a profound understanding of financial market technologies, enabling us to offer innovative and effective solutions.

We are in search of a dedicated Murex Trading Consultant with a strong background in Fixed Income to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess substantial client-side experience and be involved in various project deliverables within their area of specialization:

  • Participate actively in project deliverables pertinent to their field of expertise.
  • Manage project deliverables from inception to completion.
  • Establish the necessary organization to ensure adherence to specifications agreed upon with stakeholders and timely completion.
  • Conduct business requirements analysis.
  • Draft specifications.
  • Oversee configuration, testing, and validation processes.
  • Provide user support.
Qualifications
  • A Master's or Bachelor's Degree, ideally in Financial Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Business, or Computer Science.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Murex Front Office.
  • Strong knowledge of Fixed Income and Interest Rate Derivatives.
  • Proficient in SQL scripting (perl, awk).
  • Familiarity with financial instruments representation and lifecycle management.
  • Understanding of dynamic tables and simulation views.
  • Experience in gathering and analyzing user requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of managing multiple projects and priorities while aligning with business expectations.
  • Customer-focused with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, committed to delivering high-quality service.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Required Skills

Proficiency in SQL, Treasury, Unix, Fixed Income, Front Office operations, Murex, Python, Trading, Money Markets, and Business Analysis.
