NPI Program Manager Job Description
The NPI Program Manager will be responsible for managing multi-disciplinary engineering core teams for defining, developing, and delivering to commercial and industrial product requirements and timeline. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience and understanding of the semiconductor industry, chip development, and key competitive differentiators for our products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage NPI program including planning development, resourcing, and budget throughout the product lifecycle.
- Drive project execution and assure alignment with all project teams.
- Utilize NXP's program management flow (BCaM) and tools for project tracking, gate reviews, business financials, core team management.
- Deliver project metrics and on-time reports.
Qualifications/Experience:
- BSEE, advanced degree preferred.
- At least 10 years' experience in the semiconductor industry with a strong track record of driving IC programs, SoC design and/or embedded software projects.
- 5 years as Program / Project Manager on complex NPI projects.
- Subject matter background and experience in SoC design, SW development, product/test development or applications.
