Job Description:

Financial Oversight:

  • Processing bank transactions and preparing reconciliation reports
  • Reviewing and approving expense claims from employees and executives
  • Managing end-of-period entries and monthly accruals
  • Generating fixed asset documentation and calculating depreciation
  • Tax Compliance:
  • Handling VAT, CVAE calculations, declarations, and payments
  • Preparing DAS2 reports and conducting annual VAT audits
  • Reporting and Financial Analysis:
  • Evaluating discrepancies in monthly financial reports
  • Preparing consolidation schedules and audit documentation
  • Subsidiary Oversight:
  • Ensuring accuracy in subsidiary accounting records
  • Importing and validating financial data in Sage
  • Collaborating with local accounting firms for financial statement preparation
  • Additional Responsibilities:
  • Conducting quarterly reconciliations with HR for social security contributions
  • Managing intercompany transactions
  • Enhancing and implementing Sage BI and Sage 1000 systems
  • Setting up VAT proration and managing accounting periods

Candidate Profile:


The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in accounting with a minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting, preferably within a multi-entity environment or an accounting firm.

You should demonstrate the ability to analyze and manage multiple accounting entities effectively. Familiarity with Sage 1000 and BI tools is highly desirable.
