Aventa is seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing pipeline systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop specifications for flexible pipe suppliers and interface with project teams, engineering teams, and SCM.
- Support the selection of flexible pipe suppliers through technical evaluation and plan, detail, and review technical documentation.
- Develop documentation packages and studies related to dynamic riser systems and static jumper systems.
- Manage design analysis and undertake and check others' analysis, design, and engineering activities.
- Ensure design and detailing comply with industry codes, standards, and design guides.
- Produce and check design documentation, including feasibility reports and detailed in-place design reports.
- Be aware of overall project planning and responsible for planning your scope of work.
- Ensure progress and compliance of suppliers in close interface with SCM function.
- Follow up on flexible design activities, fabrications, and testing.
- Ensure work is performed in accordance with the latest HSEQ and Group procedures.
- Provide engineering assistance during mobilizations and occasional periods of offshore or site working.
- Participate in events such as bid clarifications, kick-off meetings, HIRAs, design reviews, etc.
- MSc or PhD in mechanical engineering/hydrodynamics with relevant work experience in the oil and gas industry or equivalent.
- Proficiency in OrcaFlex software.
- Fluent in English.
- Ability to prioritize workload, manage time, and inform team members of constraints.
- Demonstrable ability to work within time/budget constraints.
- Ability to work in a multicultural group.
