Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Design Specialist to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our multicultural team, you will be responsible for designing flexible pipe systems, including pipe cross-section definition and subsea pipeline ancillaries' equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Investigate and identify main and critical design parameters
  • Classify requirements per dedicated design tool
  • Write technical reports linked to performed studies
  • Seek support from the R&D department or challenge them for proposed design optimization
  • Review design reports and technical analysis from other team engineers or other disciplines engineers in which interface occurs
  • Prepare required documentation for flexible pipe and ancillaries equipment manufacturing
  • Reply clearly to internal and external clients
About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to evolve on different operational activities in Front-End Engineering, Tendering, Project, and Customer Services. You will have the chance to provide support onsite in manufacturing plants, fabrication yards, or offshore on construction vessels.

Requirements
  • Engineering degree with a specialization in mechanical or hydrodynamic engineering
  • Fluent in French and English
  • Familiar with the Office Pack and Excel (good notions of VBA or Python programming is a plus)
  • Autonomous and organized, demonstrating leadership and real decision-making abilities
  • Ability to manage priorities and move easily as part of a team with good communication skills (written and oral)
  • Continuously raising standards, innovative, solution-oriented, and able to help us solve complex problems
  • Open-minded, willing to travel and speak professional English
  • Adaptable and able to work in a multicultural environment
  • Committed and proactive with a strong sense of collaboration
  • Able to make decisions and learn from every situation
