The R&D Team: Our R&D team consists of seasoned technology professionals who share a strong enthusiasm for innovation. We provide extensive training, coaching, resources, and mentorship to support the growth and success of every team member.

Your Role: As a vital member of our technical squad, you will collaborate with QA, Software Engineers, DevOps, Data Scientists, and Data Engineers to tackle challenges related to new features, scalability, security, and usability. You will play a key role in ensuring the quality of Sidetrade's flagship product, "Augmented Cash," by defining and executing test scenarios, enhancing automated test coverage, and contributing throughout the development lifecycle. Participate in QA guild projects to explore and improve automation solutions while continuously developing your skills through collaborative exchanges with colleagues.

Technical Environment:

  • Testing Tools: Cypress & Playwright (Typescript/Javascript)
  • API Testing: Postman
  • Database Management: SQL

Technology Stack:

  • Frontend: React, JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Backend: ASP.NET MVC & WebForms, C# .NET & .NET Core & .NET 6, Python
  • Databases: Oracle, Postgres, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ
  • Deployment: Ansible, Octopus, Docker
  • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows
  • Development Tools: Visual Studio, VS Code, PyCharm, Azure DevOps services, Git, SonarQube, Jira, Confluence, Teams

What We Are Looking For:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a QA Engineer
  • Proficient in automation tools and methodologies (Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of continuous integration (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or equivalent)
  • Experience with API testing (REST/SOAP) using Postman or similar tools
  • Knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Familiarity with web development challenges
  • Ability to understand and navigate a complex technical stack (Micro-services, High-availability, Multitenancy, Data Lake)
  • Familiarity with Gherkin is an advantage
