Regulatory Compliance Specialist

At Technip Energies, we are committed to accelerating the energy transition. As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring that our projects meet the highest standards of regulatory compliance.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing and implementing project procedures related to regulatory compliance
- Ensuring timely and suitable reporting to project management and clients
- Reviewing national regulations and informing the project of regulations that have an impact in each project phase
- Maintaining a robust and available documentation of regulatory compliance
- Establishing and maintaining a permitting register
- Developing and implementing a CE marking strategy, coordinating and supporting the project for the applicable European Directives; PED, ATEX, Machinery Directive, EMC, LV, etc.
- Supporting the project in Performance Standard coordination
You will act as a focal point internally and externally for the above activities.
Requirements:
- Engineering degree or equivalent, min 8 years of relevant work experience in the oil and gas or renewable energy industry with a minimum of 3-year experience in work with third party organizations, national authorities
- Knowledge of EU directives, CE marking and its application on industrial projects. Experience in several projects for above mentioned application
- Good understanding of the role, responsibilities and limitations of regulatory bodies such as; national authorities, Classification Societies, Flag Administrations, Independent Verification Bodies and Notified Bodies
- Good understanding of the laws, regulations and standards applied by regulatory bodies and third parties such as; European Directives, Classification rules, IMO codes and conventions, Written verification schemes
- Capability to promote team-working and collaboration among the different functions both internally with procurement, engineering, inspection, construction, commissioning and externally with third parties, clients, sub-contractors and suppliers
- Open minded and creative with excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English, French
