The CEA Paris-Saclay's Department of Safety Protection and Health (DSPS) is seeking a full-time employee for a Radioprotection Technician position in the installations.
Main Missions
As a member of the Section of Radioprotection of Installations (SRI) team, you will be responsible for:
Ensuring the radioprotection of workers, equipment, and premises in regulated areas of the center, as well as controlling radiological waste and materials.
Ensuring the correct application of radioprotection rules by various stakeholders.
Conducting prevention and optimization actions: writing risk analysis/position studies, radiological zoning, measurements, participating in worker training.
Monitoring and conducting radiological controls of installations, operations, and personnel: radioprotection control of workers, materials, premises, waste, transports, exploitation of TCR alarms, periodic controls of sources, follow-up of construction sites and contractors, dosimetric follow-up of workers.
Intervening in case of radioactive events or incidents and participating in exercises with other site units.
You will be attached to the Fontenay-aux-Roses site.
Candidate Profile
You hold a Bac+2 or Bac+3 scientific degree or prevention of risks. You have 1 to 2 years of experience in radioprotection or prevention of risks. A PNR formation and adapted guidance will be proposed to you.
A knowledge of nuclear installations in dismantling would be an additional asset.
Your organizational sense, analytical spirit, and writing skills will be essential to carry out your missions.
