Job Summary:
SilverBack is seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE Manager to oversee and manage health, safety, and environmental protocols for a large-scale construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel involved in the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement HSE Management Plan: Create and implement a comprehensive HSE management plan that aligns with industry standards and regulations.
- Conduct Regular Site Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure adherence to safety standards and identify potential hazards.
- Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments for all project activities, particularly focusing on the installation of electrical components, and develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure Safety Equipment and PPE: Ensure that all safety equipment and personal protective equipment are used correctly and are in good condition.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an HSE manager or engineer in a construction or industrial setting.
- Education: Degree qualified in a relevant field such as health, safety, and environmental management.
- Certifications: Hold certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
