About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Software Engineer to join our Data, Software, and DevOps team. As a team lead, you will be responsible for managing a team of 4 software engineers and overseeing the development of our scientific engine, which is built using Python.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of our scientific engine, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and performance.
- Lead and coach your team to deliver high-quality software solutions, adhering to our internal standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps and architecture.
- Ensure compliance with internal standards and best practices.
- Present progress and goals to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience as a software engineer or data scientist.
- Strong knowledge of Python and experience with microservices architecture.
- Experience with Docker and continuous development and continuous integration (CD/CI) pipelines.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English and French.
