We are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Manager to join our team at ib vogt GmbH. As a key member of our project finance, M&A/sales, and development activities in France and Italy, you will work closely with our departments in France and Italy, as well as our expertise divisions at our head office in Berlin.
Key Responsibilities- Provide market understanding to our analyst team on PF/Sales assumptions to be used in in-house financial models and to our management to help define project strategy
- Raise various types of debt (senior, junior, mezzanine, etc.) and equity (specifically crowdfunding) and run M&A/sales activities, including selecting financial advisors, reviewing data rooms, and assisting with due diligence activities
- Tender and negotiate external contracts as necessary, review internal contracts, and negotiate relevant project documents
- Create, update, and review financial models for transactions using company templates
- Make presentations and recommendations on ways forward to our project Steering Committee at each stage gate
- Report to management regarding timeline, project status, feasibility, project risks, and budgets
- Draft Investment Papers for Board/Shareholders approvals
- Manage post-transaction obligations and attend networking events to manage stakeholder relationships
- Outstanding financial modeling skills (VBA is a plus)
- 5-8 years of prior experience in raising financing and/or M&A/sales
- Prior experience within the infrastructure fields, ideally renewable energies/photovoltaics/BESS
- Affinity with legal, technical, and financial feasibility of renewable projects
- Flexible, creative, critical thinking, and entrepreneurial attitude
- Multitasking and performing under pressure
- Self-driven and independent work talent, performs well in a team
- Attentive to details while overseeing the bigger picture
- Fluent in French, professional level in English required
- Master's or bachelor's degree in a relevant area of expertise
