We are seeking an Import Logistics Coordinator to support our client in managing transit operations for imported goods.
Job Overview:
- Facilitate the effective organization and oversight of transit operations for imported merchandise in accordance with established protocols and standards.
- Act as a crucial contributor to client satisfaction, cost management, and operational productivity.
- Gather essential documentation and directives for processing operations.
- Verify transport documents, including 'Bill of Lading'.
- Coordinate bookings with shipping lines based on received directives.
- Oversee transport logistics and delivery while adhering to relevant regulations.
- Manage expenses and procurement to enhance efficiency and profit margins.
- Prepare customs documentation and handle invoicing processes.
- Address and resolve client inquiries and disputes effectively.
Candidate Profile:
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a comparable position, preferably with familiarity in the CargoWise system.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and international documentation requirements.
- Essential qualities include responsiveness, dynamism, attention to detail, teamwork, and strong organizational capabilities.
- Fluency in professional English, both written and spoken, is required.
