About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and a proven track record of delivering complex projects. You will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Design and deliver added value energy solutions
- Lead a team of engineers to ensure project delivery
- Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Review all data requested by clients for approval
- Sustain a high value safety culture and assure a safe working environment
- Manage QHSE on projects and assigned personnel
- Minimum 10 years' engineering experience or at least 8 years' experience in the oil and gas industry specifically
- Minimum of 5-10 years dedicated to software engineering experience
- Experience in typical software such as OLGA, Pipesim, PVTSim, Multiflash, Ledaflow, Pipenet, Flowmaster, etc.
- Experience in CFD studies and associated software (Fluent, Star CCM+, Open Foam, etc) would be a plus
- Knowledge of process and past experience with associated software (Hysys, Unisim, K-spice, etc) would be a plus
- Master degree (or international equivalent) in a subject relevant to the engineering discipline
- Working language for the role is English, which is essential as there is a high level of interfacing with international offices and clients
