Position Overview:
Textron Aviation, a leader in the aviation industry, is seeking a Lead Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a dedicated team of technicians and manage multiple projects involving various aircraft models, including Cessna Citation and Beechcraft.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the Technical Service Manager (TSM) and Customer Service Managers (CSM) to ensure efficient hangar operations.
- Supervise maintenance sites to optimize productivity and meet delivery schedules.
- Distribute tasks among team members based on their skill sets and expertise.
- Manage external contractors and ensure compliance with project timelines.
- Review and validate maintenance documentation to ensure accuracy and adherence to regulations.
- Conduct inspections and oversee troubleshooting operations as needed.
- Maintain effective communication with TSM/CSM regarding project status and any challenges affecting aircraft readiness.
- Ensure that all maintenance activities are documented accurately and in compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in safety and regulatory training to uphold the highest standards of aviation maintenance.
Qualifications:
- EASA B1 license with QT/C license is required.
- Certifications for Beechcraft aircraft are mandatory.
- A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in aircraft maintenance.
- Proficient in technical English and capable of interpreting maintenance documentation.
- Familiarity with Part 145 regulations and Safety Management Systems (SMS).
- Basic computer skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work shifts and possess a valid B driving license.
- Strong attention to detail, flexibility, and a commitment to quality.
