With a global workforce exceeding 18,000, the Microsoft Customer Experience & Success (CE&S) division is tasked with the strategic design and execution of Microsoft's comprehensive customer engagement initiatives. We are in search of a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) with a focus on Azure AI and ML, who is enthusiastic about facilitating our clients' transformation on Microsoft Azure. This role is customer-oriented, managing the technical rapport between the client and Microsoft, and assisting clients in maximizing their Microsoft investments through architecture, implementation, and operational health strategies. You will engage in a variety of innovative projects during critical phases, fostering long-term relationships with your clients. You will act as the Chief Technology Officer for your clients. This position offers flexibility, allowing for up to 60% remote work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Focus
    • Comprehend clients' overarching data estate Business and IT priorities along with success metrics to design Data & Analytics solutions that deliver business value.
    • Enhance Customer Satisfaction and establish yourself as a trusted advisor.
    • Ensure that the solution demonstrates high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment.
    • Gather feedback and insights from clients and partners.
  • Business Impact
    • Articulate the business necessity and value of proposed solutions, plans, and risks to stakeholders and decision-makers.
    • Cultivate opportunities to drive Customer Success business outcomes and assist clients in realizing value from their Microsoft investments.
    • Identify solutions to client challenges by leveraging subject matter expertise.
    • Utilize technical knowledge to architect and design solutions that align with business and IT requirements, create AI & ML roadmaps, and drive POCs and MVPs.
  • Technical Leadership
    • Establish trusted advisor status and cultivate deep relationships across stakeholders through an understanding of client needs and technologies.
    • Serve as the Voice of the Customer to share insights and best practices, connecting with the Engineering team to eliminate key obstacles and promote product enhancements.
    • Maintain technical expertise and knowledge, staying current with market trends and competitive insights.
    • Share knowledge, contribute to intellectual property creation, and re-use to expedite client outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, with a specific emphasis on AI & ML technologies.
  • Experience gained from Partner or End customer environments.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Technical expertise in LLM, SLM, RAG, etc.
    • Proficiency in ML & ML OPS, familiarity with LLM Applications & LLM OPS.
    • Proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, Java, etc.
    • Knowledge of AI Orchestrator frameworks like Lang Chain, Semantic Kernel.
    • Understanding of neural networks and contemporary Transformer architecture patterns.
    • Capability to deliver architecture design and MVP upskilling workshops.
    • Familiarity with Copilot and Responsible AI.
    • Soft skills are equally important for success in this role: Creative Thinking, Active Listening, etc.
