Key Responsibilities- Provide cutting-edge expertise in structure-based drug design for diverse target classes.
- Contribute to the development of target drugging strategies and medicinal chemistry plans in collaboration with external partners.
- Monitor and evaluate emerging innovative approaches and technologies in small molecule drug discovery.
- Identify potential external partners or CROs to drive the Drug Discovery portfolio forward.
- Contribute to the proposal of new targets.
- Participate in due diligence for potential acquisitions.
- PhD in medicinal chemistry with 10 years of experience in drug discovery in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology environment.
- Excellent understanding of structural biology, pharmacology, DMPK, and ability to integrate these disciplines for project progression.
- Demonstrated track record as a medicinal chemistry leader in drug discovery projects for diverse target classes.
- Successful experience in structure-based drug design.
- Excellent English written and oral, presentation, and communication skills.
- Great leadership skills and experience working in a dynamic multidisciplinary environment.
- Prior experience with ADCs is a plus.
