Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Iberdrola International. As a key member of our Offshore Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical equipment, with a focus on high-voltage cables (HV cables) in Continental Europe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define technical requirements, improvements, and maintenance strategies for electrical equipment, prioritizing HV cables.
  • Provide support to O&M engineering, assistance, and recommendations to deliver mid-to-large-scale O&M works within time, budget, and quality.
  • Identify and claim technical defects in electrical equipment, particularly HV cables, to the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM).
  • Assess and mitigate technical risks associated with electrical equipment condition, focusing on HV cables.
  • Develop and implement procedures to ensure maintenance activities are deployed effectively.
  • Coordinate maintenance strategies with other Offshore O&M Hubs (UK and USA) to achieve uniform, global, and standardized solutions.
  • Collaborate with local Iberdrola Site staff to execute maintenance activities safely, timely, and with required quality.
  • Define optimal solutions for new wind farm projects, ensuring efficient Operation and Maintenance activities during the commercial operation phase.
  • Manage personnel, identify training needs, and implement necessary actions to address gaps.
  • Interact with Global Technical Services, OEM, Offshore Site teams, grid operators, certifiers, and regulatory bodies to establish efficient technical relationships.
Requirements
  • Experience in contracting, engineering design, or delivery of HV cable installation, testing, and maintenance.
  • Track record in operation and maintenance delivery.
  • Participation in global teams for multitask, international projects.
  • Contract management skills.
  • Fluency in English and French.
