SAEM Sports et Tourisme is dedicated to the management of ski resorts, including the renowned Châtel resort, which ranks as the 15th largest in France. The company employs around 300 staff during the winter season and 120 in the summer, strategically located in the picturesque Franco-Swiss ski area of Portes du Soleil.
Job Description:
In the role of Automotive Technician within the Operations division, particularly in the garage, your primary duty will be to perform repairs and upkeep on various vehicles utilized at the resort. This includes cars, machinery, snow groomers, and snowmobiles. Your responsibilities will encompass diagnosing mechanical issues, replacing or mending components, making necessary adjustments, and keeping detailed service records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and troubleshoot vehicle malfunctions
- Repair or substitute defective parts
- Adjust and fine-tune vehicles for optimal performance
- Maintain accurate service documentation
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles
- Collaborate effectively within a team and embrace outdoor work; prior skiing experience is advantageous
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in automotive or machinery repair
- Strong teamwork capabilities
- Passion for outdoor activities and skiing
Working Conditions:
This position offers a 6-month full-time fixed-term contract, requiring 35 hours of work per week, under the supervision of Mr. Bernard HUGON in the Garage department. The role is based on-site, with no options for remote work.
Compensation:
The salary ranges from €1,900.00 to €2,000.00 per month, along with various discounts on services provided by the company.
