About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Workforce Planning Leader to join our team at Otis. As a key member of our Organizational Effectiveness team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing a comprehensive enterprise-wide workforce planning strategy that aligns with our business objectives and growth projections.

Key Responsibilities
  • Workforce Planning Expertise: Serve as a subject matter expert in workforce planning, providing knowledge, skills, and expertise needed to meet the people/talent demands of our global organization.
  • Strategic Planning: Drive the implementation and alignment of strategic organizational people plans by understanding requirements, drivers, and future organizational trends/objectives.
  • Phase 1: Front-line Labor: Support our Operating Units to implement a model for strategic Workforce Planning for front-line labor, a significant portion of our workforce.
  • Phase 2: Enabling Functions: Support our Corporate & Functions to implement strategic Workforce Planning for our enabling functions, including short and long-term plans.
  • Partnerships: Partner with adjacent team members to ensure alignment with forward-looking plans and deliver results.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Establish and conduct regular reporting in support of a data-driven workforce plan, providing updates to senior leadership on workforce planning activities, achievements, and challenges.
  • Tool Development: Develop tools and resources to enhance a strategic people planning mindset across the global organization.
Requirements
  • Workforce Planning Experience: Extensive experience in Workforce Planning, preferably in a complex, multi-regional global organization.
  • Program Establishment: Prior experience with and a passion for program establishment is a must.
  • Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in data science/analytics is strongly preferred.
  • Program Management: Strong program management and planning experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills, with a passion for working with large complex data sets, predictive modeling, and best-in-class technology/tools.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Highly collaborative with an ability to establish credibility and implement change, particularly in thinking toward the future in planning for the talent needs of the organization.
  • Executive Communication: Superior communication and presentation skills with an ability to communicate at the executive level.
