Citi is seeking an experienced Cash Equities Trader to join our team in Paris. As a key member of our Equities Trading desk, you will be responsible for trading Pan European Cash Equities and growing the desk's revenue through profitable inventory management and market making.
Key Responsibilities- Trade Pan European Cash Equities as a Direct Markets trader, with a focus on growing the desk's profitability and size.
- Effectively risk manage the trading book and oversee the risk of other traders within your team.
- Liaise with sales to develop the trading franchise, anticipating client demand in each respective product/market.
- Use trading dashboards to improve risk management and identify opportunities for revenue generation.
- Work closely with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, and Finance to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure.
- Significant trading experience in Cash Equities or closely related products, with a strong revenue generating track record.
- Experience of working closely with Sales, Research, and other organizations across Markets to provide market liquidity and help build the Citi franchise.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication and effective interpersonal skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A strong understanding of Bloomberg, booking systems, trading protocol, and closing technicalities.
