The Credit and Collections Representative is responsible for maintaining collections operations within the Accounting Team. This role involves handling an assigned portfolio of customers, prioritizing the collection of invoices, and identifying/resolving any issues blocking payment. Additionally, the position requires interacting professionally with internal and external customers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Seek and follow customer accounts in accordance with priorities and methodology.
  • Manage reminders and account statements.
  • Issue cases requiring customer concern or support.
  • Look after Ebilling rejections, identify possible root causes, and resolve issues with internal departments.
  • Maintain and update customer accounts data, conduct credit assessments, and adapt credit limits in our ERP.
  • Check our current Approval Matrix.
  • Manage the generic mailbox in rotation with the team, including paper mail and incoming calls. Collaborate with the Team and Manager on other related duties as assigned.

YOUR PROFILE:

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • First or several successful experiences in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (many interactions with internal and external departments).
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction.

You'll also need to be:

  • Rigorous and diligent to detail.
  • Solution-oriented.

Requirements:

Full-time student completing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related areas.

Proficiency in English and French. A good level of German or Italian is a plus.

Good knowledge of MS Office tools - Excel and Word.

Experience Related:

Work or internship experience is helpful, especially in customer-oriented functions.
