Your Role:

You'll be an integral member of the EMEAI Solutions Consulting team, focused on our Arbortext 'Create, Manage, and Deliver' portfolio. This team of Technical Sales Consultants works together to understand customer needs and develop solutions to complex product development, manufacturing, and service challenges.

Your Impact:

  • You'll act as an Arbortext technical expert across all types of Pre-Sales activities, leveraging your deep knowledge of Arbortext and related technologies in customer engagements.
  • You'll help PTC win new Arbortext customers and ensure their success in using our solutions, which is critical to our success as a subscription-license based company.
  • You'll address challenging problems ranging from process investigation and re-engineering, Requests for Proposals, Custom demonstrators, and technical benchmarking.

Your Day-To-Day:

As part of an EMEAI-wide team, you'll assist PTC's Account Managers by providing customer-facing functional and technical expertise across the full customer buying process. This includes Customer Relationship management, coordination, and delivery of all Pre-Sales technical activities, such as:

  • Qualifying PTC Solution fit
  • Responding to Requests for Information / Proposal / Quotation
  • Architecting and presenting technical solutions
  • Preparing and delivering standard and customer solution demonstrations
  • Technical benchmarking
  • Supporting the Customer Value Proposition
  • Supporting PTC's broad network of Partners, including Resellers, System Integrators, Advisory Groups, and leading Academic institutions.

Your Skills and Knowledge:

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent subject
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with Arbortext technical solutions, including Arbortext Editor, Publishing Engine, Arbortext Content Delivery, Styler, Architect, IsoDraw (preferred), Web Editor, Layout Editor/Developer
  • Understanding of the Dynamic Publishing processes and market
  • Proven ability to establish and meet milestones and deadlines
  • Ability to travel within Europe
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both French and English is mandatory
