We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Packaging Manager - Continuous Improvement to join our team at McCain Foods. As a key member of our manufacturing excellence team, you will be responsible for enhancing and optimizing packaging processes through continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement standardized packaging processes across all production lines, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for packaging personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Provide ongoing support to packaging teams, addressing challenges and ensuring efficient operations.
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis initiatives for packaging defects, inefficiencies, and errors.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency in packaging processes without compromising quality.
- Initiate and manage projects aimed at improving packaging efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall performance.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Fluency in English is necessary. Fluency in French or Dutch according to the location.
- Clear understanding of manufacturing environment and performance indicators.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management.
- Proven ability to drive results using Lean, or other structured problem-solving methods.
