Continuous Improvement Packaging Manager

About the Role:
The Continuous Improvement Packaging Manager will play a crucial role in enhancing and optimizing packaging processes across all production lines at McCain Foods. This position will focus on standardizing processes, providing training and support to packaging teams, conducting root cause analysis, and identifying opportunities for cost efficiency and automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement standardized packaging processes to ensure consistency and quality.
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs for packaging personnel to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Provide ongoing support to packaging teams, addressing challenges and ensuring efficient operations.
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis initiatives for packaging defects, inefficiencies, and errors.
- Identify opportunities to improve cost efficiency in packaging processes without compromising quality.
- Initiate and manage projects aimed at improving packaging efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall performance.
- Utilize advanced data analysis tools to assess packaging performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing.
- Fluency in English is necessary. Fluency in French or Dutch according to the location.
- Clear understanding of manufacturing environment and performance indicators.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and project management.
- Proven ability to drive results using Lean, or other structured problem-solving methods.
