Job Title: Associate Director

Capijobnew is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Director to join our team in France. As a key member of our European leadership team, you will play a crucial role in driving our sustainability agenda and expanding our business in the French market.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Expand our European business, with a focus on the French market, by engaging with clients and external parties across pan-European investment portfolios.
  2. Support the growing team in Europe to deliver ESG strategy, net zero carbon, climate resilience, social impact, smart buildings, big data, and building-level sustainability improvement programmes for clients.
  3. Develop and implement business development strategies to expand existing client work and engage new clients.
  4. Collaborate with clients to evolve their investment process to fully integrate ESG considerations.
  5. Contribute to the development of new products and services, and continually evolve our company's IP through direct involvement or support to service lines.
Requirements:
  1. Knowledge of the investment sector, preferably in the real estate sector.
  2. Developing expertise in real estate investment with expertise in and/or a passion for sustainability issues and their application to real estate investment.
  3. Proven client relationship management and stakeholder management skills.
  4. Commercial acumen, including monitoring budgets and achieving target profitability/margin.
  5. Passion for furthering the sustainability agenda.
  6. Understanding of managing programmes, competing priorities, and multiple projects.
  7. Ability to transform complex sector-specific language into everyday terms and concepts.
  8. Strong presentation skills to a range of commercial client audiences.
  9. Proven business development skills.
  10. Highly articulate and numerate with clear, highly developed communication skills.
  11. Team player.
  12. Comfortable under pressure.
  13. Fluent in French and English.
  14. Expertise or qualifications in ESG-related subjects welcomed.
  15. Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., Chartered Environmentalist).
  16. Experience of managing pan-European stakeholders.
  17. Knowledge of the built environment, preferably commercial real estate investment management and finance.
  18. Environmental and energy audit experience for commercial buildings.
  19. Business development experience.
  20. Familiarity with TCFD, net zero carbon, EU SFDR, GRESB, BREEAM In Use, Fitwell or WELL certification, environmental data, and environmental legislation.

France, preferably Paris.
