Electrical Senior Engineer

At Michelin Oy, we are seeking a highly skilled Electrical Senior Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Senior Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our power distribution systems and substations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement cost-effective solutions for breakdown, corrective, and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and optimize energy efficiency.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring problems related to electrical engineering.
  • Prepare and update technical documentation, including safety procedures and quality control measures, to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with operational maintenance teams to ensure the availability and reliability of critical equipment and systems.
  • Drive maintenance-related initiatives, such as RCM and CMMS, to ensure sustainability and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of technicians and maintenance personnel.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent qualification.
  • Proven experience in electrical distribution system designing and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and Sinhala.
