Location: Hybrid
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Tax Director
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file corporate income tax returns for Canada;
- Oversee corporate tax compliance for both Canada and the US, including data collection, calculation, and verification of installment payments;
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual tax provisions, addressing tax accounting issues, and contributing to the consolidated tax provision;
- Support the Tax Director in managing tax audits efficiently and effectively;
- Analyze tax assessment notices and account statements;
- Engage with various tax authorities regarding tax-related inquiries and respond to their requests;
- Contribute to the implementation of transfer pricing strategies;
- Assist with inquiries related to commodity tax and Canadian indirect tax;
- Conduct tax research and draft technical memorandums on both Canadian and international tax issues;
- Participate in the tax analysis of various strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting;
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Canadian corporate taxation;
- Familiarity with IFRS or GAAP;
- Proficient in standard IT tools, particularly Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills;
- Experience with accounting software is a plus;
- CPA designation is advantageous;
- Knowledge of indirect tax or international tax is beneficial;
- Familiarity with CbCR or Pillar II is a plus;
- Strong communication skills with proficiency in both English and French (written and spoken).
