Pursue a challenging role as a Strategic Supply Chain Planning Director, focusing on European operations.

This position plays a key role in long-term supply plans, ensuring they support demand requirements and align with financial goals. You will implement and maintain a SIOP supply planning process to optimize lead time, service and inventory levels. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing medium and long-term supply chain strategies and networks that address capacity issues, continuity of supply, and inventory in support of business growth.

As a Strategic Supply Chain Planning Director, you will oversee European CHVAC supply planning, encompassing 3 manufacturing sites. Your primary responsibilities include driving the SIOP Supply planning process, ensuring the plan includes stocking and capacity levels to meet global customer requirements, and achieving the company's financial objectives.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee long-term supply planning activities, including supply and demand balancing, and long-term capacity planning.
  • Collaborate with Demand and Supply Chain teams to translate and validate demand plans within an 18-month horizon as part of an input to the monthly Executive SIOP.
  • Identify key data needs, metrics, inputs, and communicate plan changes, risks, and overall process performance.
  • Spearhead monthly supply planning meetings with manufacturing locations and materials teams to ensure supply plans align with demand plans.
  • Facilitate decisions around materials, equipment, labor, and other resources needed to support demand over the SIOP planning horizon.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Demand Planning, Material Managers, and Production Planning groups to generate recommendations to solve capacity issues and support long-term sales demand.
  • Measure, analyze, and report key SIOP supply metrics, monitoring adherence to key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage long-term rough-cut capacity views with scenario planning, identifying constraints and escalating exceptions for business consideration with suggested scenarios and solutions.
  • Identify, resolve, and escalate supply chain risks, including production disruptions and inventory shortages.
  • Provide regular updates on supply status, risks, and opportunities to all key internal partners.

Duties & Deliverables:

  • Foster a culture of excellence by consistently meeting or exceeding performance expectations.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve operational excellence.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to leverage resources and best practices.
  • Implement innovative solutions to improve supply chain efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Lead inventory management processes, collaborating with sites and business units to drive DIOH targets.
  • Manage inventory of new and phase-out products through product life cycle management processes.
  • Play a key role in E&O inventory reviews, root cause analysis, and developing action plans to reduce excess inventory.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years of experience in Supply Chain Management, with advanced knowledge of S&OE and S&OP implementation. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with experience in inventory optimization and advanced tools for planning and inventory management.

The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the principles of supply chain management, with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions. Experience working with $1B+ businesses and MTO/ETO manufacturing environments is preferred.

A competitive salary of $120,000 per year reflects the level of responsibility and expertise required for this position. The location of this role is France, offering a unique blend of European culture and professional opportunities.
