A challenging opportunity has arisen for a skilled Network Systems Engineer to join Airbus Helicopters in Marignane. As a key member of the Computers & Electronic department, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing avionics networks for the Airbus Helicopters fleet.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Specify, design, validate, verify, and certify network systems to meet civilian regulations or military qualifications.
- Develop and maintain a networks strategy and roadmap to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Lead projects to implement network roadmaps and ensure successful delivery.
- Propose and develop innovative network solutions and tools that meet safety and certification constraints.
- Collaborate with various Airbus Helicopters entities to ensure technical dialogue and provide necessary support.
- Collect and discuss operational needs with system designers to ensure network architectures meet customer requirements.
- Optimize global network architectures considering different technologies, manufacturing constraints, support and services requirements, customer added value, weight, and cost.
- Develop specifications and guidelines for technology usage within Airbus Helicopters.
Your Working Environment:
As a Network Systems Engineer at Airbus Helicopters, you will be part of a dynamic team in a major economic hub with a rich cultural and tourist offer. You will have the opportunity to work on complex projects that require innovative solutions and collaboration with various stakeholders.
Your Profile:
- Engineering degree in telecommunications and networks, embedded systems, or electronics.
- Work experience in aeronautical systems development.
- Deep knowledge in Ethernet-based networks.
- Knowledge of CAN and Wi-Fi-based networks.
- Notions of Mil-Std-1553 protocol and GSM communications.
- System Engineering.
- Curious, autonomous, and team-oriented.
- Good communication skills.
- Advanced level of English and negotiation level of French.
This position requires a security clearance or eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.
